Oral Mucosal Lesions include a broad array of topics:

  • Candidiasis

  • Erythema migrans
  • Hairy tongue

There can be multiple underlying systemic causes for these conditions such as nutritional deficiencies, immune defects and blood disorders. This category also includes multiple surface lesions of the epithelium or connective tissue. These can be diagnosed with biopsies and treated with pharmacological management.
